Classic 7 Layer Salad Recipe

🛒 Ingredients:
- 1 head iceberg lettuce, washed and torn into bite-sized pieces
- 4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 2 large tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup frozen peas (thawed)
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 6–8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
For the Dressing:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Layer the Salad: In a large clear glass bowl or trifle dish, start by adding the lettuce as the base layer.
- Add the Eggs: Spread the chopped hard-boiled eggs evenly over the lettuce.
